Thanksgiving

We usually spend Thanksgiving with Jon's family. There are 10 siblings and 32 grand children, so we usually reserve the ward's cultural hall and have a big feast and games and the children always put on a skit. But this year jon's parents are on a mission in Texas. So what are we most thankful for next to family???? Great friends!!!

Actually aren't your best friends the family you get to pick out yourselves? Sure they are. and there is a lot less drama for the Holiday, too. So we spent our thansgiving with our great friends, the McDonalds. We had dinner at their house and then came back to our house for dessert and games. the kids kept tradition and put on a wonderful skit. Lots of treats and 80's Trivial Pursuit (What 80's reggae band named itself after the British legal form "Unemployed British seeking benefits?" answer below) filled the fun day.

We have so much to be Thankful for and i would dedicate a whole sappy blog to it but this blog is waaay far behind and i am trying to catch up. just know i am thankful for my husband, my children, our home and everything in it, Jon's job, my saviour Jesus Christ, the restored gospel and the freedom to worship, chocolate, Target, Disney, Dr. pepper, Costco, and amazing friends like YOU!!!

Oh and the answer to the trivia question- UB40. Funny thing is that the next morning Julie and i got up at 4am to go shopping and the song on the radio was a UB40 song- Red, red wine. We laughed really hard- remember we were very tired. ;)

Paula- now we KNOW that we need to have you and Joe and the kids over. Let's set something up after Christmas and there will definately be some Trivial Pursuit involved.
